Overview
Vein is an ecosystem dashboard and pay-per-query intelligence API built on top of LiteForge, a public blockchain. This policy explains what data Vein collects, how it's used, and what it isn't used for.
What we collect
On-chain data. Vein reads public blockchain data (transactions, addresses, balances, token transfers, smart contracts) from the Blockscout explorer API and LiteForge RPC. This data is already public on-chain — Vein does not create or control it.
Wallet addresses you look up.When you search a wallet or token address in the dashboard, that address is sent to our server to fetch its public on-chain activity. We don't log or store addresses you merely browse.
Intelligence API usage. If you use the pay-per-query API, we store your wallet address, a running query count, the timestamp of your last query, and the transaction hash of any on-chain payment you send to unlock more queries. This is stored to enforce the free-query limit and confirm payments — nothing else is attached to it.
What we don't collect
Vein does not require sign-up, does not collect names, emails, or IP-linked profiles, and does not use cookies, browser local storage, or third-party analytics/tracking scripts. Connecting a wallet is never required to browse the dashboard.
Third-party services
Blockscout — public block explorer API, the source of all on-chain data displayed.
Supabase — hosts the database used to track intelligence API query counts and generate weekly ecosystem reports.
Hosting provider — like any web host, our hosting provider may log standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, requested path) for security and reliability. Vein does not access or use these logs beyond routine operation of the service.
Data retention
Intelligence API query records (wallet address, query count, last query time, payment tx hash) are retained indefinitely to enforce the free-query limit across sessions. Weekly ecosystem reports contain only aggregate, anonymous chain-wide statistics — no individual wallet data.
Your choices
Since Vein doesn't require an account, there's no profile to delete. If you'd like your wallet's query-tracking record removed from our database, reach out via the contact below and we'll clear it.
